Los Angeles CA — Vocalist and guitarist DEREK HUNG produced an instrumental remix of “Internet Girl” earlier this year that recieved well deserved buzz on TikTok, including very positive feedback from Katseye vocalist Megan Skiendiel.

Vocalist and visual artist FAE FATALE also commented on Derek’s post, by saying that the track, “sounds like it needs some girly screams.”  At that point they  decided to collaborate together on an updated version of the track.

This release is the very first officially licensed cover of the song.

The release is accompanied by custom cover art and a Spotify canvas created in collaboration with visual artist Eliza, whose creative aesthetic expands the project’s visual world.  Scott Seigel (known for his work with Woe Is Me, Jackson Rose, Darknet, and Andy Cizek) mixed and mastered this recording.

FAE FATALE is a Los Angeles based independent artist, creating music and visuals that thrive where beauty and darkness collide. Drawing from nu-metal, industrial, and alternative rock, her songs fuse raw heaviness with her powerful vocal style.

Deeply inspired by cinematic horror, she is as much a visual storyteller as she is a musician. Fae Fatale writes and directs her own macabre visual projects, building immersive worlds that reflect the raw emotions behind her songs. Her work often explores themes of mental health and the hidden corners of the human psyche, turning these darker topics into her immersive works that she describes as dark fairytale-like worlds.

Since her debut single Lobotomy (August 2024), Fae Fatale has been steadily building a devoted, cult-like following. With her genre-defying sound, evocative lyricism, and uncompromising creative vision, she continues to emerge as a compelling new voice at the intersection of rock, metal, and visual art.

DEREK HUNG is a metal vocalist, guitarist, and producer from Anaheim, CA, known for viral TikTok performances (60.8K+ followers), a featured video appearance during Thirty Seconds to Mars’ 2023 Lollapalooza performance, and fronting the metal projects Catalust and Luxe Exit. Derek Hung’s latest single has surpassed 200K+ streams, marking the first release from an upcoming collaborative album with Dal Av, slated for 2026.
