October 19th, 2026 – On November 6th, EVA X delivers her sophomore sonic party, TURBOPINK. Somewhere out on the road touring, Eva found that she didn’t really feel like a robot girl anymore. But then, what kind of artist was she? What kind of person? The album that was to become TURBOPINK grew with her, through travelling all over North America and growing the band to a four-piece. When she got home, she hit the studio, took her time, determined to create the colorful industrial metal album of her dreams.
Now she’s back, louder than ever, and ready to crash the goth party. TURBOPINK is an eclectic collection of confessional songs, literary-ish allusions, and cyberpunk shout-outs, anchored by Eva’s vocals. Eva has most definitely found her voice, with theatrical lead lines, colorful harmonies, and a steady stream of hooks. Truthfully, she has to admit that talk-singing was always a little confining.
Musically, the album goes heavier and harder, serving up a sugar rush of industrial, electronica, metal, and even a sprinkle or two of J-Pop. The result? An album loaded with bristling upbeat dance bops such as “Fiction”, and some little metal treats, including a cover of Korn’s “Twisted Transistor”.
TURBOPINK is a turbocharged version of the robot girl you used to know, now in full living color with friends. And really, isn’t that what a good robot story is all about?
TURBOPINK will be available on CD format and on all digital formats worldwide.
EVA X started as a bedroom producer. She started releasing her tracks in 2019 and quickly built a cult following in the goth/industrial scene with her fusion of synthwave, industrial, power pop, and even metal elements. She released her debut album, I Dream Of A Reality on Distortion Productions in 2022, landing on several “Best of 2022” lists. She’s been a rising power on the US festival scene, including New Jersey’s Dark Force Fest, Seattle’s Mechanismus Festival, and Calgary’s Terminus. After a couple of years of heavy touring, Eva is back with her second album, TURBOPINK and a full band along for the ride.
