STABBED BY PRONGS Explores The Dynamics Of Human Relationships With Static Skin

March4th, 2026 – Dark electro project, STABBED BY PRONGS has just unleashed their new full-length LP, Static Skin.

Drawing from EBM, electro, and 90s industrial influences, protagonist Craig Drabik has crafted six original soundscapes blending dance and destruction. Longtime collaborators Ry White, Andy Breton, Kimberly Kornmeier (Bow Ever Down), and Lail Brown return, along with newcomer Gabrielle Emerson.

Human relationships are a primary lyrical theme that permeates the album.  The opening track, “Corpus” hints at imposter syndrome under its moody S&M vibe, while “Another Realm” embodies the longing and isolation of a long-distance relationship. “Violent Delights”, the album’s first single, is a harrowing look into an intimate relationship with a malignant narcissist. “Fall Into Darkness” wraps up the album, longing to escape into the kind of love that consumes your sense of self.

STABBED BY PRONGS founder, Craig Drabik states, “Static Skin seems to have two personalities split between the male and female vocalists. I think there’s a nice contrast between the thumpy, heavy aggression of tracks like “Corpus” and “Big Fake World” and the laid-back electro-trip-hop of “Pyromancer” for example. It provides more surface area to attract different kinds of listeners.”

STABBED BY PRONGS is the studio project of electronic musician/producer Craig  Drabik. After stints playing guitar and keyboards in several Buffalo, NY area  bands during the 90s and 2000s, music fell by the wayside thanks to career commitments and lack of interest in an electronic-focused project in a solidly  alt-rock and metal city. Pandemic lockdown provided the time and focus to  rediscover a passion for music fueled by the political and social situation of the  time. With time to spare and things to say, STABBED BY PRONGS was born.

STABBED BY PRONGS draws its most obvious musical inspiration from dark  electronic and industrial artists such as Front Line Assembly, KMFDM, Nine  Inch Nails, and Chemlab with influence from 90s-era EDM acts like Crystal Method and Prodigy.

STABBED BY PRONGS’s self-titled debut album draws from industrial-metal to hyperactive electro to dark downtempo  electronica. The project draws from the talents of a number of collaborators  from diverse musical backgrounds who bring their own unique perspectives and  lyrical themes to the sound. The music explores topics such as political strife,  betrayal, loneliness, and the breakdown of relationships.

SBP’s full-length album was  released in May of 2023. Then in February, 2026, STABBED BY PRONGS released their second album, Static Skin.
