Based in the Texas city of San Antonio, Night Ritualz (aka Vincent Guerrero IV) blends coldwave synths, club-ready beats and punk-leaning lyrics with emotional, cinematic production. Weaving Latin influences into his music, he often sings in Spanish as well as English. His project has been built from the ground up with a singular vision, fusing intimacy, obsession and atmosphere into every song.
The second Night Ritualz album, ‘Time Is A Thief’, is out today (20th February). More urgent and hard-driven than his 2025 self-titled debut, it is built for movement and was created with the intention of bringing additional energy to Guerrero’s acclaimed live show, keeping audiences moving from the first beat to the very last.
The album has been preceded by three musically varied singles, the most recent of which is ‘Un Tiro’ (One Shot) VIDEO. With its early ‘80s indie-pop vibe, the song stands in stark contrast to its immediate predecessor, ‘Whoreish’ STREAM, which mixed hard industrial and EBM sounds. The album’s first single, ‘Brown Skin’ STREAM, was an unapologetic expression of identity, struggle and survival that blended personal storytelling with social commentary.
“Centred around an air of brooding introspection, favouring haunting synths and mournful melodies. Balances visceral intensity and emotional vulnerability” – ELECTRONIC SOUND
“Brings out the best in the blend of darkwave, EBM, and post-punk, and the fusion of English and Spanish lyrics accentuates his offering. Lethal potential” -SUFFISSOCORE
“The beats are club-ready, the synths immersive, yet there is always a human pulse beneath the machinery. He isn’t simply crafting an atmosphere, but mapping survival and identity” – OUT OF RAGE
Night Ritualz initially drew inspiration from artists such as Depeche Mode, Deftones and At The Drive-In, blurring the lines between darkwave, electronic, EBM and post-punk to create a genre he terms ‘fuck wave’. Having self-released several singles in 2023 and 2024, Guerrero signed to Metropolis Records prior to the March 2025 release of ‘Night Ritualz’ STREAM, an album that can also be purchased HERE.
He has spent much of the last year touring relentlessly, building a steady and devoted fanbase with sold-out tours in Mexico, California and Texas. A fully curated experience, his live show is designed to take audiences on a sonic and visual journey through shadow, nostalgia and neon-lit emotion.
Expanding into festival circuits and international stages, he remains committed to using this platform to raise awareness for Latin communities affected by injustice, while supporting and participating in community-driven events whenever possible.
