The project started seven years ago and was held up by COVIS but has been well worth the wait. We have had a sneak preview of the album for many months now and it’s been one of our secret albums of the year that we have been to sworn to secrecy over. The upcoming album is chock full of killer cuts that somehow combine the trio’s roots in glam, punk and post punk but updated for the now.
This has always been the core of the guitarist’s restless work in all his bands. Daniel Ash was always an idiosyncratic and mould breaking guitar player and his brilliantly simple yet utterly original style created soundscapes out of riffs and songs out of textures but always remembered to dance and to stomp instead of chin stroking. He also is a great vocalist who as an acolyte of Ziggy and Bolan knows how to twist an anthem into new startling shapes.
