Formed in January of 2024, Diavola is a groovemetal band based in Oslo, Norway. The members started the band with the intention of playing and writing in the style of the new wave of American heavy metal that bloomed in the early 2000s.
After releasing their debut EP Dawn in August of 2024, the band played concerts all over Norway and has been booked to festivals like Garasjefestivalen, Festivalen i Grøtte and Spretakkelfestivalen in Norway.
On the 5th of June 2025, the band released their first full length album, Without Judgement, and has planned more gigs after the release.
The music takes inspiration from groove metal, hardcore, thrash and metalcore to create their take on riff oriented metal.
