Los Angeles electro-rock duo PLASTIC RHINO signs with Curtain Call Records

PLASTIC RHINO’s latest single is about how far you will go to love your person.  “TAKEITALL” is a song that asks, “How far you will go to love your person. How far is too far? When does it become dangerous and deadly?”

Vocalist Atara Glazer shares a little look behind the theme of the group’s hilarious 80’s Jazzercise fever dream music video stating, “The song is about love and obsession going too far, lines are crossed, blood is spilled.”

“The hilarious 80’s Jazzercise fever dream music video concept came from the BPM of the song, it matched perfectly with old 80’s Jazzercise competition videos. So we decided to recreate an 80’s workout class, but with a little twist. Don’t drink the rave water!”

“emotional intensity comes through in the sound… where a throbbing beat and clashing guitars build into a wall of energy, propelled by crashing drums and fast-paced rhythms. Raw, powerful vocals heighten the urgency, while the lyrics carry a determined, almost threatening tone” – Jessica Hart / Earmilk

“Plastic Rhino blend their signature industrial rock grit with pulsating EDM and dubstep elements, resulting in a sound that’s both modern and ferocious.” – Jonathan Currinn / Good Star Vibes

““TAKEITALL” is a manifesto masquerading as a single. It’s aggressive, seductive, unhinged—and entirely irresistible.” – Michael Stover / Music Crowns

The duo of vocalist Atara Glazer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Glazer returned to producer Tom Chandler of Elite Recordings LA for the new single with additional production by Ron Geffen at Rockland Studios in LA. Wanting to push their musical boundaries this time, PLASTIC RHINO took their music to a more industrial rock/hard-rock sound, ala Bad Omens, Poppy, Bring Me The Horizon.

Recently featured on Sirius XM Little Steven’s Garage and receiving radio spins worldwide, “TAKEITALL” was featured on Apple Editorial playlist “New In Rock” as well as their music video on VEVO’s playlist “Incoming Rock” on Youtube.
