The Amatory Murder Channel Rock Icons and Industrial Fury on “The Sounds of Seven Angels” — Out June 23, 2025

Los Angeles, CA— What happens when you take the moodiness of Pink Floyd, the sonic grandeur of Muse, the pulsing angst of Nine Inch Nails, and filter it through a New York state of mind? You get The Amatory Murder—a band equally at home in the shadows and on the stage, delivering a raw, immersive experience that bridges classic rock roots with 21st-century alternative firepower.

Their new album, “The Sounds of Seven Angels”, arrives June 23, 2025, and it’s an emotionally heavy, musically diverse journey into chaos, connection, and culture. Driven by atmospheric synths, heavy guitars, melodic hooks, and deeply human lyrics, the record draws inspiration from legends like U2, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, and The Smashing Pumpkins, while maintaining the unique identity The Amatory Murder has carved since their debut.

Founded by Xian Murder—vocalist, producer, and the creative engine behind the band—the group includes Scott Genovese (drums, percussion, Binx Noir (bass), and Jake Haimowitz (guitar), with all members contributing musically to the album. Each track is built with purpose and power, fusing post-punk intensity, heavy rock grit, and industrial edge into a sound that’s cinematic and fiercely melodic.

“This album is a mirror to modern chaos. We don’t just write songs—we build worlds you can live in,” says Xian Murder. “It’s classic in its storytelling, but completely now in its energy.”
