SoCal Skatecore torchbearers Since We Were Kids! have officially dropped their long-awaited album, Armageddon Session—a relentless, high-speed ride through raw punk, hardcore, and metal influences. The album is now available on vinyl via Irish Voodoo Records, a label committed to supporting hardcore, punk, metal, straight edge, and skatepunk from the underground up.
Today, the band celebrates a major milestone as their track “Past Tense” enters rotation on Sirius XM Faction Punk, exposing their raw, DIY sound to listeners across the nation. The song is a high-octane burner packed with technical riffs and relentless energy, confronting how people change and forget their roots—an anthem for the disillusioned and defiant.
Formed by brothers Danny and Art Banura and bassist Frank, Since We Were Kids! was born out of a passion for skateboarding, punk rock, and the DIY scene in Victorville, CA. Their mission? To bring a brutal yet humorous take on modern punk and hardcore through uncompromising riffs, breakneck tempos, and lyrics that challenge the superficial.
“Armageddon Session is the album we’ve been building toward. It’s fast, loud, honest, and unapologetically us,” says Danny Banura, principal songwriter and longtime scene veteran who has toured globally with bands like Murder Death Kill, Blood Stands Still, First Blood, and Donnybrook.

Inspired by Rich Kids on LSD, Poison Idea, Sick Of It All, Suicidal Tendencies, and Pennywise, their sound merges metal muscle with punk attitude, forming the perfect storm of Skatecore. With huge analog-style production, Armageddon Session captures the chaotic energy of a backyard pool session or a no-permit skate jam on the edge of getting busted.
