“Die Demon Die” – New Single from Progressive Metal Band Echosoul

Explosive. Gritty. Unrelenting. Echosoul is back with their latest sonic assault, *”Die Demon Die,”* dropping on 9/11/2024. This isn’t just another track—this is an **anthem**. A bold declaration of victory over evil, channeling the defiance of legendary rock anthems like Mötley Crüe’s “Shout at the Devil,” Black Sabbath’s “Heaven and Hell,” and Stryper’s “To Hell With the Devil.”

*”Die Demon Die”* takes aim at the malevolent forces that haunt us, as Echosoul delivers a hard-hitting, riff-driven track that shakes the soul. “When you begin to realize that demons are at your throat, you start to understand who the enemy really is,” says Lead and rhythm guitarist Guy Hinton. “This song is about putting evil in chains and breaking the ones that have been put on us!”

Driven by pounding guitars and relentless energy, the chorus demands to be shouted at full volume, with speakers cranked to the max—this is music designed to *be felt*.

A New Edge for Echosoul

*”Die Demon Die”* stands out not only for its powerful message but also for its sound. While retaining the hard-driven grit fans expect, Echosoul stretched their creative muscles on this track. For the first time, they’ve introduced fry vocals, a popular screaming technique in today’s heavy music scene. Rob and Guy share vocal duties, pushing their sound to new levels and adding an edge that fans will feel in their bones.

“This is the only track on the upcoming album where we went all-in with fry vocals,” says the band. “We’re anxious to hear how it’s received, but we think we nailed it.”

Guy Hinton on His Writing Style and Musical Influences

Adding to the evolution of Echosoul’s music, guitarist and songwriter Guy Hinton explains, “The primary drive for writing songs is inspired through true-life experiences. Speaking to the struggles and the victories, and the deep layers of humanity.”

Echosoul’s debut album garnered major success internationally, especially in Germany and Europe, with special guest appearances and vocalist Rob Lundgren doing a majority of the vocals. Now, the band is poised for a breakthrough in the U.S., following the release of their sophomore album *“Time of the Dragon.”*

Sharing what fans can expect from Echosoul’s unique sound, Hinton says, “None of the songs are short. You will hear everything from melodic build-ups you get from an orchestra to complex riffing and double bass gallops of gigantic proportions.” Inspired by legendary artists like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Nevermore, and Primal Fear, Echosoul creates metal music with meaningful lyrics and well-thought-out riffs.
