Today, Industrial act Terminal unveils ‘The Hush of Cannons Cold,’ a unique collection of eight instrumental reworks released on Metropolis Records. Here, the South African group’s instrumental tracks, appearing as seven brief interludes on the first two Terminal albums, are each remixed and developed into full-length (but still instrumental) pieces by different collaborators. Contributing artists represent a broad variety of acts from across the industrial, EBM and darkwave landscapes, including Flesh Field, iVardensphere, Stahlschlag, Evestus, spankthenun, RailWRX and Searching For Survivors. The results are stylistically diverse, from slamming club tracks to neo-classical musings. ‘The Hush of Cannons Cold,’ was released by Metropolis Records via all digital and streaming platforms. Terminal will be playing selected dates in the Summer and Fall of 2024.
