Today, Red Lokust releases their new epic album entitled ‘Hope is the Last Refuge of the Dying!’ Since their last outing, the boys have played shows all over North America, giving audiences a taste of the new album with performances at the Mechanismus Festival (Seattle), Dark Side of the Con (New Jersey) as well as shows in Madison, Brooklyn, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Dealing with themes of loss, cancer survival, war, infidelity and a doomed future, ‘Hope is the Last Refuge of the Dying!’ is Red Lokust’s third studio album. With this album, the band takes a giant step forward with heightened production and sharp songwriting applied to its pulsating electronic rhythms that perfectly merge with its energetic Industrial atmosphere. Also featured on this album, an explosive and surprising cover of Dramarama’s “Anything, Anything.” However, that doesn’t mean that the dance floor is forgotten. There, tracks like “Sunfall Down,” “The Fourth Turning,” “The Four Winds” and “No War” will deliver everything fans have been waiting for. ‘Hope is the Last Refuge of the Dying!’ was released today by Distortion Productions as a limited edition CD and through all digital and streaming platforms.
