Ghost‘s inaugural film, Rite Here Rite Now recently unveiled its official trailer, with the movie set to premiere in cinemas worldwide on June 20th and 22nd. Shot during the band’s two sold-out performances at LA’s Kia Forum, the film offers a glimpse into Ghost’s live spectacle.
Accompanying the film is the release of an Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on July 26th via Loma Vista Recordings. Featuring 18 songs, including a live version of “Absolution,” recorded during the Forum shows, the soundtrack will be available in digital, CD, and 2xLP formats.
Going beyond your typical concert documentary, Rite Here Rite Now weaves together live performances from Ghost’s RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A. 2023 finale with a narrative that extends elements from the band’s ongoing Chapters series. The film provides a blend of on-stage performances and behind-the-scenes interactions, featuring familiar faces alongside Papa Emeritus IV.
The film was directed by Ghost frontman Tobias Forge along with director Alex Ross Perry, and produced by Popecorn Cinematic Pictures.
