Today, Los Angeles-based Dawn of Ashes has unleashed ‘Reopening The Scars,’ their monstrous new album on Metropolis Records. A perfect hybrid of Industrial and extreme metal, Dawn of Ashes cut three albums for Metropolis Records in the late 2010s, having previously recorded for Metal Blade and subsequently for Artoffact Records. Now, for their return to Metropolis, Dawn of Ashes founder and frontman Kristof Bathory and company have served up another blistering album of pounding rhythms, extreme guitars and harsh electronics that delve deep into the horrors of the world. To celebrate the release of ‘Reopening The Scars,’ Dawn of Ashes will be performing at the infamous Dark Force Festival in New Jersey. The ‘Reopening The Scars’ album is available through Metropolis Records on all digital and streaming formats, along with a CD version.
