Aggro-punk band, MALICE MACHINE has finally unleashed their long-awaited new single, “Hyena”. The track will appear on the forthcoming full-length album, Act Of Self Destruction.
“Hyena” is about the forces and the decision makers that create chaos in the world and ultimately burn us all. It’s a message based on imagery and driven by bass and drums that’s expressed in the typical MALICE MACHIKNE fashion of unfiltered angst.. At it’s core, “Hyena” is a statement of anger about life, society and its leaders.
The new MALICE MACINE album, Act Of Self Destruction will be available mid April, 2024.

About the album, Act Of Self-Destruction:
Act Of Self Destruction is the latest album from MALICE MACHINE that introduces their original concept of Aggro-Punk. Inspired by their song “Corpse Painter”, from their previous album, Chemical Violence, they’ve meshed the harsh electronic synth, bass, and drum assault of aggrotech with the rebellious, raw energy, and to-the-point aspects of punk.
As with their previous releases, Act Of Self Destruction remains lyrically bleak, dark and foreboding, unleashing their unforgiving message upon the frenzy of their wicked musical sense. With this album, MALICE MACHINE feels it has found its identity.

ormed in the catacombs of NYC’s underground, MALICE MACHINE is the collaboration of two dark souls, Syn Thetic and Juliex. Originally started as an Industrial project, it’s continually evolved in a menacing mesh of analog and digital waves, emanating in an assembly of sinister synths, methodical drums, razored guitars and edge riding vocals.
Their first album, Digital Scars, released in 2017, hailed a five star review from Katarzyna ‘NINa’ Górnisiewicz of Fabryka Industrial Rock & Metal Encyclopedia and had songs streamed by several podcasts including Bloodlit Radio, Razor Blade Dance Floor, Cranium Radio, Ghost Wave Radio, and Hard Rock Hell. Their building reputation gained them the opportunity to work with John Bechdel of Ministry who would co-produce songs for their next album, Chemical Violence.
Released at the end of 2021, Chemical Violence is a hybrid of retro and modern electronic influences built upon a heavy dance foundation. It became an immediate hit with Djs, clubs, and podcasts and received rave reviews from Industrial, Electronic, and Metal zines:
Their growing repute enabled MALICE MACHINE to perform live with national acts such as Neon Funeral, Circle Burn, Spank the Nun, and Statiqbloom, extending their reach from the East Coast to Virginia, and further down to Texas.
Working on a follow up album, Syn and Juliex wrote and recorded 14 songs, then scrapped them all in a pursuit of something less traditional and more cutting edge. They based their new sound off their song “Corpse Painter” from Chemical Violence, manifesting its aggressive bass and drum with a minimalist structure to create a new genre that they called “Aggro-Punk”. They completed a setlist of this new material and introduced their visionary sound live in Texas, sharing the stage with Antania (Doc Luna of Luna13, Kali Mortem) and Death Hex then following up with an East Coast tour alongside Antania. Their new music was well received, with patrons paying off the street after hearing the Aggro Punk pulsing from the venues.
MALICE MACHINE then returned to the studio to complete their third album, Act Of Self Destruction set for release in April, 2024.
