Today, BLACK NAIL CABARET have released their sixth full-length album “Chrysanthemum.” The beautiful chrysanthemum originally derives its name from the Latin version of the ancient Greek word ???????????, which means ‘gold flower.’ Its humble white form is also known as the cemetery flower as it is often used to adorn graves for its longevity. The Hungarian pop noir duo’s sixth album is about an uprising but is also about acceptance and features Emese Árvai-Illés on vocals and Krisztián Árvai on keyboards and programming. Accompanying the album is the fascinating, story-telling video for ‘Darkness Is a Friend.” ‘Chrysanthemum’ is available through Dependent Records of Germany on LP vinyl, an artbook 2 CD edition and on all streaming and digital platforms. BLACK NAIL CABARET will be touring the UK in April with Empathy Test (dates below).
