The return of Flesh Field! In late August, eighteen years after their last official release, electro/industrial band Flesh Field surprised everyone with a 36 second teaser trailer created by Clint Carney of System Syn for a new album entitled “Voice of the Echo Chamber.” The album, mastered by Ted Phelps of Imperative Reaction, is set to be released on November 3rd, 2023 by Metropolis Records on CD along with all digital and streaming platforms.
With a wall of aggressive electro-industrial ridden guitars as the backbone, Flesh Field’s Ian Ross then utilizes each track on “Voice of the Echo Chamber,” to explore the tragic stages of radicalization of various individuals that ultimately turn towards political violence. Written between March and July of 2023, and now a solo project, Flesh Field’s sound remains true to past efforts, while exploring new orchestral ground with enormous percussion and a film score atmosphere while maintaining the raw aggression of past works.
