August 28th, 2026 – Gothic industrial duo, DEATH BY LOVE have officially unveiled their brand new single & video – the stunning, “Królowa ?wiata”.
“Królowa ?wiata” (Queen of the World), serves as a poetic embodiment of love itself: a force grand, absolute, and sovereign, capable of reshaping one’s destiny, yet powerful enough to inspire both profound awe and a paralyzing fear of heartbreak.
The story unfolds as an intimate soliloquy, almost a quiet plea for self-healing. “By framing the verses in the second person—“You know how many days you waited…”—I appear to be addressing someone else. Yet, in truth, these words are the whispers of my own subconscious, trying to break through the defensive armor I had built around myself.” says vocalist, Inga.
Peter and Inga, both originally from Poland, set out to produce their first Polish-language track, “Królowa ?wiata.” The song’s production began while Peter was touring the East Coast as a tech for CLAN OF XYMOX, using a portable rig to build around vocals sent by Inga. Channeling inspiration from the nightly shows, Peter recorded initial guitar tracks using guitarist Ronny Moorings’ Rickenbacker, while CLAN OF XYMOX bassist, Mario Usai contributed the song’s driving bassline in Peter’s hotel room.
Upon returning to his home studio, Peter refined the track by pairing new vocal takes from Inga with trance-inspired synth sequences to build tension and dynamics. The duo created a music video centered on a intentionally campy vampire love story.

Inga and Peter are benevolent “love vampires” teaching guarded people trust and vulnerability. They playfully compete to awaken their partner’s heart first through amused glances and a chessboard with red and white queens. They never fight or become jealous.
Peter finds Monica writing an unfinished love letter in a deserted late-night café. Calm and patient, he listens and makes her feel seen. He returns her torn letter and offers his hand without forcing contact. She trusts him and follows him into the mansion.
Inga finds Ian dancing alone in an abandoned ballroom, hiding loneliness behind charm. She mirrors his movement and challenges him with fearless eye contact. Their sensual dance becomes sincere as Ian reveals vulnerability.
Monica discovers Peter has no reflection; Ian sees Inga’s fangs. Frightened, they retreat. Peter and Inga do not chase. They open the doors and let them leave, proving love does not possess. Outside, beneath rain and a blood-red moon, Monica and Ian realize they were offered acceptance and voluntarily return.
DEATH BY LOVE is a visionary music project that masterfully fuses gothic, industrial, and trip-hop influences with the evocative textures of Middle Eastern soundscapes. The band’s hauntingly beautiful aesthetic is the creation of Polish singer-songwriter Inga Habiba and acclaimed American music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and remix artist Peter Guellard.
