Industrial Metal Band, NEGATIVE AGENT Releases Politically-Charged Debut Album, Terminal Days

New York, NY, April 8th, 2026 – NEGATIVE AGENT has released itheir debut album, Terminal DaysThe album features nine tracks of ferocious, politically-charged industrial metal, and raises a giant middle finger to the fascists, oligarchs, tech-bros, A.I. fetishists, and human rights abusers that have taken over the United States.

Terminal Days is an outlet for our collective anger; a catharsis through heavy guitars, nervy synths, and punishing beats. Unapologetically political lyrics push back against censorship and gaslighting. At the same time, there’s a sarcastic sense of humor running through many of the songs. (Consider “Fascist Beatdown,” a track about punching Nazis.) And like all industrial music bangers, Terminal Days totally stomps in the clubs.

“I created Negative Agent because I couldn’t find any other way to express the rage, terror, and heartbreak I was feeling when the current  administration took over,” says NEGATIVE AGENT founder, Brian Stillman. “Music and art have always been political, inspiring acts of resistance and giving people a voice when the powerful try to shut them up.”

Terminal Days also features guest musicians like Steve Wiener (Am I In Trouble?Negative BlissEveale) on “Mind Wipe,” and Greg Schwan (WitnessesOver Centuries) on “Pain Control.” The album’s rounded out with a remix of “Fascist Beatdown” by the electro/industrial mastermind, Voidscan.

Terminal Days is available on CD and cassette tape formats as well s all major digital outlets worldwide.

Formed in NYC in 2025 by Brian Stillman, the industrial metal band NEGATIVE AGENT delivers a direct and caustic fuck you to fascists, oligarchs, tech-bros, AI fetishists, and human-rights abusers that have taken over the United States. It’s lefty resistance and paranoid futurism and even a little bit of hope in these dark days. Inspired by bands like Ministry, Front Line Assembly, Fear Factory, Pitchshifter, and Killing Joke, NEGATIVE AGENT delivers progressive aggression that’s equally at home in the pit and on the dance floor.

Brian Stillman’s own history with the scene goes back to the early Nineties when he started playing shows and going to clubs in NYC. In the late Nineties and early 2000s, he was part of a group who spent 15 years running a monthly goth/industrial party called Contempt. Along with everything else, NEGATIVE AGENT is Stillman’s love-letter to that time, and to all the people who made the scene in NYC so great.
