Started week # 4 as my final week of training at VBR/GRJ UK and come home to find a jury duty stand by notice at home. Just fucking GREAT I was unemployed earning next to no income for 7 fucking months and I finally enter a new career and I get a fucking mandatory jury duty appearance notice. Fucking annoy and inconvenient. However being that I am no longer 1099 employed and a w2 for the first time since 2001 my employer pays me for that time off. Okay somewhat better but still annoying getting to 26th and California again. I hate that address for far too many reasons to list.
Thursday during our first break our manager Andrew walked us down to the farmers market on Daley Plaza. I was drooling. Co worker Kate bought some wine cheese that we sampled at lunch and it was delicious.
27 years living in Chicago and I just had Mr. Submarine for the very first time. I had an original Italian and it was very good but I will add peppers next visit. Melita came and met me for lunch.

It’s that bewitching time of year again when Kenmore Avenue transforms into the official Halloween destination of Buena Park. Prepare to be spellbound as we conjure up an evening of safe, spine-tingling trick-or-treating! Kenmore Ave. is the official street for trick-or-treating in Buena Park. The street will be closed off from Irving Park to Montrose & at Sheridan to allow a safe passage for children to trick-or-treat from 6-8PM.
Kenmore residents have a tradition of top-class Halloween decorations. Our neighbors have been hard at work and we’re on the hunt for the most hauntingly impressive spectacle. In the spirit of friendly competition and community unity, we’re thrilled have prizes for the Scariest House and Best Overall House. Each winner will be awarded a $100 gift certificate. It’s our way of recognizing your dedication to making Kenmore Avenue the Halloween wonderland it is.
