The sun’s coming up and I’m still drinking. And no one left to pay my tab. And I know I’m good for one thing. Even though you said I’m good for none.

We had a break for maybe 2-3 days from the sweltering heat and now its coming back. This entire summer has been one long August. I’m getting my bike rides in but getting them out of the way early. I only missed today 7/26/2025 because I got to sleep after 2 AM last night and was up much to early as usual. When I did intend to head out my tires were low and I biked over to see Ron at Nearly New Bikes to pump them up. They were very low. As I hopped back onto Broadway the rain began to sprinkle so I went home. The news had promised storms all day off and on on the FOX 32 Day Planner. Again they were wrong. My area saw none of it.

Det. Petrovic was introduced in Season 11, Episode 7’s “The Living Dead” when the Intelligence Unit discovers their abduction investigation is actually a serial killer case. Enter Petrovic, whom Voight recruits to help them understand the methodology of the perpetrator.

“Petrovic is extremely smart, but she has her own kind of secrets and demons that she’s dealing with,” Jason Beghe (Voight) told TV Insider. “And socially, she’s somewhere a little further along on the spectrum than most, but she has a strong sense of herself and she’s a very astute and useful a member of the team at this point to help us solve the problems, figuring out who this serial killer is. She’s a gifted profiler.”

Played by Bojana Novakovic, a Serbian-Australian actress you might have seen in Drag Me To HellRakeInstinctWestworld, Shameless, Birds of Prey, and I, Tonya.

Sadly she has not returned after S 11 and I thought she’d be a good addition especially battling her “demons”.

It was the eve of Max’s 65th birthday and Eden would be at least another hour to pick us up so we went to Tac Quick for a “quickie” drink. The owner Itti Damprapa took a photo of us trying hislatest concoction “Sake Bombs”.

Max and I had some time to kill before Eden would arrive to take us to the LA GUNS show in St Charles so we popped into Tac Quick for a “quickie”. We said hello to chef-owner Itti Damprapa who had us try his latest concoction, the SAKE BOMB and just as we finished it Eden called and told us she has just made the Irving Park exit off of Lake Shore Drive. Itti took out photo and posted it on their social media pages. Thanks!

We rode in Gary’s SUV to St Charles which was a construction hell ride nightmare. I hate GPS.”Turn right. Turn left. Turn right. Turn left. Red Light Camera Ahead.” Eden got us to the venue early enough to hang for a bit before the show.

Angelina “Angela” Piazza Turley July 27, 1927 – July 12, 2025 just shy of her 98th birthday. Angie was a mother, community activist, and social worker who grew up during the depression in a steel and coal town in the Ohio hills and ended up in flatlands of the big city, married to an internationally acclaimed architect.

In the ‘70s and ‘80s, when she was the president of the board of the Uptown Center Hull House, which was part of the storied Chicago social services organization that has since shuttered, Mrs. Turley helped establish a program for abused women and made it her mission to confront slumlords.
