If you listened to the podcast Larry divulged that the Mayor created a task force to shut down his show. He posted this on Instagram on Saturday afternoon:
After battling the mayor’s office and joy District management we were forced to move the event to the Admiral theater. We’ve got access to the entire club plus a private event space upstairs. Everything is still the same except for the location. We will be setting up on Tuesday from noon on and the doors open at 7:00 p.m. I will keep everybody informed and any changes will be addressed.
Nice to see City Hall has their priorities in line. Larry did this show downtown at Excalibur/The Castle for 10 years with no issues at all. Wide spread teen rioting and crime is fine but shut down a show promoting the sex industry.

After 2.5 days of hiding Spooky has finally come out to play. but 10 minutes later hid again.
Marcia/Sinderella Pussie called me Monday wth the heartbreaking news and I’ve kept it quiet till now and it’s out. Jacky Blaque. I met her back in 1993 when I was back in Pittsburgh DJing at Club Babylon and I hosted a party for them after the show and she, Charles and Buzz and some others from the band hung out that night. I’ll dig out pix tomorrow to post as they are going into the MK book anyway.

Truly fucked for bike riders. Millions of dollars spent on these lanes for assholes to disrespect.

Lobster for lunch in the Loop 5/17/2025
After meeting Melita this afternoon on a break from her studies in the Loop and having lunch at Happy Lobster ( I FUCKING LOVE LOBSTER ROLLS) I got the hankerin’ for more seafood so I whipped up AZ’s Seafood Boil in the early evening hours. Raw shrimp, corn on the cob, mussels, red skin potatoes, andouille sausage and Cajun seasoning. Served over grits.

Max was a helluva trooper and showed up in time for the podcast with my old friends Nichole Bodie and her husband Damon Christopher. The show was a LOT of fun. It ran 1 hour 23 minutes. The city was nuts over the weekend.Beyonce the worlds greatest country music performer played 3 sold out shows at Soldier Field, The Cubs and Sox played the third game of the crosstown classic at Wrigley Field, and it was also The third annual Buena Park PorchFest. SO not only was traffic hellish but parking was a challenge in my neighborhood.

Spooky has now been a resident of Casa Diablo for 8 days. 6 of those days he spent hiding but that’s no longer. He has a spot he prefers behind one of my guitars. He won’t get into my bed becasue of Katrina but other than that he’s either under my feel, laying in my path of walking or running all over the house. He’s loud on the hardwood floors and not very graceful as he knocks around so much of the things in the house, Especially the cords under the podcast table.
This morning has been very busy. I worked on spreading yesterday podcast which getting decent listens already. Connected with Bobby Jensen of The Dead Cowboys for next week’s podcast which Dawn Barbee will be back in the co host seat for the first time in years, I think 3 years. Max quickly whipped up the promo art below which only needed to be revised 1x
I contacted Trey who filmed the Seka podcast to join us and film SEXCON tomorrow night.
Finally I got into contact with Kristy Venrick in Columbus OH who is packing to move to Spain along with her husband in a few weeks. She has back issues of MK ULTRA she’ll be mailing to me which she has kept in very good condition. The final piece of the puzzle for the MK ULTRA book will be complete.
