PSYCLON NINE – cult US act start North American tour today ahead of new album out 7th March 2025 on Metropolis Records

Led by Nero Bellum, cult US act Psyclon Nine have long cemented a reputation as one of the most infamous yet successful exponents of the Industrial and Metal crossover scenes, often credited as being the founders of the Blackened Industrial sub-genre.

They begin a ‘Devils Work Tour 2025’ of North America tonight (31st January). Tickets for all dates can be purchased HERE.

‘Devils Work’ is also the title of the group’s next single, out on 14th February. Along with the recent ‘I Choose Violence’ LISTEN, it is included on ‘And Then Oblivion’, a brand new album set for release on 7th March via Metropolis Records.

Melding elements of Industrial Rock, Metal, Deathcore, Ambient and Trap, ’I Choose Violence’ was unveiled in December as the first single from ‘And Then Oblivion’, with Nero Bellum stating: “I specifically set out to break as many genre limitations as possible with this song, while staying true to the concepts and imagery that Psyclon Nine evokes. Lyrically, it’s a reflection of the world we live in. An anthem for the unseen and unheard.”

Since forming in 2000, Psyclon Nine have built a substantial dedicated fanbase worldwide via regular international touring that has included European festivals such as Dark Malta, Castle Party (Poland) and four appearances at Wave Gotik Treffen (Germany), each to audiences of 30,000+ fans. They will tour Europe again in 2025.

Their most recent album, ‘Less To Heaven’ (2022), saw them charting undefined musical territory that bridged metalcore with doom electronics, trip-techno with black metal and experimental cinematic soundscapes with alternative rock. Featuring the singles ‘Money And Sex And Death’ VIDEO and ‘See You All In Hell’ VIDEO, a remix companion album entitled ‘More To Hell’ was issued in 2023.
