Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a remake of F. W. Murnau’s silent classic, with a slight nod to Werner Herzog’s 1979 remake. This iteration is marked by its cold, dark, tragic, and terrifying tone, yet remains engrossing and entertaining. Similar to Herzog’s version, it delves into themes of loneliness and obsession. It’s clearly one of the year’s best films, and I’d be surprised if it doesn’t receive massive Oscar recognition. – Paul Baio for MK ULTRA Magazine
