SUBSONIC RETURNS TO “GET IT UP”

Ron Marks, veteran singer, songwriter, and front man for the rock
group SUBSONIC, and former guitarist for the European heavy metal
group CELTIC FROST, has announced a new project for 2024.

Marks has rebooted SUBSONIC, after a 5 year hiatus, with the new single
“GET IT UP” which releases this January via DSN Music. “Get It Up”,
which expresses an affirmative response to various social oppressions
surrounding us all” said Marks. “Subsequent tracks are in the works, and
it feels great to have my project under full power once again.”

The revised SUBSONIC lineup features Marks on vocals and guitar, Mark
Allen on drums, and Paul Guzman on bass.

SUBSONIC’s rock sound leans more Pop-Alternative, and has released
several previous albums on the DSN label including: “TRIFECTA” (2012),
“HONEYCOMB” (2014), and “RIO CLEO” (2018). Marks also released the
comedy album “SOUR PUP” in 2016. Before SUBSONIC, Marks toured with
CELTIC FROST, from 1986 to 1988, and performing on their 1990 album
release “Vanity/Nemesis”, replacing Oliver Amberg.

“GET IT UP” is scheduled for release via DSN Music on Tuesday, January
23rd, and will be available for download via Amazon, Apple Music, Google
Music, Spotify, and hundreds of digital music and streaming platforms
worldwide.
