Philadelphia’s genCAB has just released “The Badge,” the debut single from their upcoming album “Signature Flaws.” With a style that alternates from industrial to synthpop with touches of IDM, darkwave and shoegaze, David Dutton started genCAB (generation cable) in 2006. Dutton is known for his meticulously crafted, chaotic arrangements that are complimented by his memorable and soaring vocals. All of this is readily on display on the new album “Signature Flaws,” available for pre-order via Bandcamp from Metropolis Records with a release date of October 20th. Additionally, “The Badge” features a stunning remix from Flesh Field, who are also returning this fall with a new album on Metropolis.
