This Sunday on an All New MK ULTRASOUND PodCast: Matthew Lidwin of Goth Rock Outfit ‘616’

‘616’ : Formed by Matthew Lindin who has always been inspired by goth rock n roll and metal, 616 holds its place as an eclectic mix of musicians with an unforgettable sound. Joined by Bryan Belleau on guitar, bass player Steven Angelo Furgiuele, and Jeremy Salazar on drums, the four artists join together all the way from Wisconsin to Canada to make music together. There’s a rich history for 616 since members Bryan and Steven have known each other for 20 years, previously forming the band “Gates of Winter.” The two remained close friends since the moment they met and decided to embark on this musical journey together. With additions of Bryan and Steven from the legendary Canadian metal band “Woods of Ypres,” 616 showcases talent from across the globe and harnesses a very unique sound.

With influences like Black Sabbath, Jim Morrison, The Sisters of Mercy, 616 takes on an eclectic mix of styles in their craft that can be heard right off the bat. Coming from the streets of Milwaukee, Lidwin has made it a long way to where he is now – forming 616 and topping the charts of goth rock and roll and bringing in almost half a million listeners on songs like “One Way to Love,” “Dead and Beloved” and “Cinderella Valentine.”
