While the band is known more for their heavy take on dark music, “Magnetic Memories” reflects the influence of seminal 1980s alternative and new wave bands such as the Cure and New Order. In fact, the new EP even boasts a cover of Peter Murphy’s classic alternative 1980s hit “Cuts You Up.” 51 Peg originally debuted in the early 00s with their “Strange Appointments” album and since that time, 51 Peg has dropped a number of releases while also performing live including opening slots for bands like Stabbing Westward, Orgy and the Birthday Massacre.” The new EP, “Magnetic Memories,” is available for now on all digital and streaming outlets.

-Bandcamp: https://51peg.bandcamp.com/album/magnetic-memories

-Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/3LlSWCGIGbgbdPBh1PaHHY

Today, the Baltimore-based 51 PEG has just released their new EP entitled “Magnetic Memories,” This new EP showcases a different side of 51 PEG, with a more straightforward and simpler stripped down approach.
