While the band is known more for their heavy take on dark music, &#8220;Magnetic Memories&#8221; reflects the influence of seminal 1980s alternative and new wave bands such as the Cure and New Order. In fact, the new EP even boasts a cover of Peter Murphy&#8217;s classic alternative 1980s hit &#8220;Cuts You Up.&#8221; 51 Peg originally debuted in the early 00s with their &#8220;Strange Appointments&#8221; album and since that time, 51 Peg has dropped a number of releases while also performing live including opening slots for bands like Stabbing Westward, Orgy and the Birthday Massacre.\u201d A brand-new lyric video for &#8220;Starlight&#8221; was released today and that single is available for previewing today on Bandcamp.
