My calendar for the next two months has never been so full. And as I write this my day job has me very very busy and it’s amazing I’ll be able to get anything in. But I will. If the weather would cooperate it’d be a different story. Every day I have to take most of all of my new porch items away and pack up. I haven’t had a night to enjoy that porch yet. But will soon. I hope. <\/p>\n\n\n

Tomorrow is May 10th and I have yet to go to the Dock. Maybe one day after work next week. My weekend are much too busy right now. <\/p>\n\n\n

After we put the bar together I found these awesome lanterns at Mariano’s one night after work. I already had my bike loaded so I had to go back the next night to buy them. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE I had also purchased some red glass table candles like in bars and restaurants. Each candles burn 45 hours<\/p>\n\n\n

It’s been like this all month long so far. But it’s blowing up green everywhere almost overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n

I’ve been seeing DEVO regularly since 1982. They seem to take a lot of long hiatuses. But I’ve seem them maybe 10 times over the decades. This may be the last time eve3r. as two original members are no longer with us. Always one of my favorite acts I even have a “Duty Now For The Future” tattoo. Max and I scored really great seats. <\/p>\n\n\n

Another last tour for a band that’s been a huge part of ,y life since the early 90’s when I was a rave DJ. My personal relationship with band members go all the way back to my first interview with them in Pittsburgh for issue #2 of MK ULTRA in 1995<\/p>\n\n\n

Man, Cinco de Mayo was nutso this year with the podcasts guest Pete Berwick. I have food and booze and we broke in teh snow cone machine. Woo Hoo. The clean up sucked big time. There were only 4 of us here and only 3 at a time. <\/p>\n\n\n

A very refreshing Jalapeno Margarita <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tequila \u2013 Use any good-quality blanco tequila in this recipe. We like this brand, but feel free to use your favorite!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


A jalape\u00f1o pepper \u2013 Use anywhere from 1\/4 to 1\/2 of the pepper. The more you use, the spicier it\u2019ll be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Orange liqueur \u2013 You\u2019ll see recipes that call for Cointreau and triple sec, but I love Grand Marnier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Freshly squeezed lime juice \u2013 For the best results, squeeze your limes right before you make your cocktails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Something sweet \u2013 I sweeten mine with homemade simple syrup or freshly squeezed orange juice. Both are delicious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


And ice! Because a great margarita is always on the rocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


To make a lighter drink, fill your glass halfway with the jalape\u00f1o margarita<\/p>\n\n\n

One of the most recent Casa Mamita products to show up in the Aldi Find freezer aisle is mini tacos. These Aldi mini tacos come in two flavors: southwest veggie and chicken. I bought a bag of each to try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
