The clip, which was directed by&nbsp;<strong>Justin H. Reich<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>Three Thirty-Three Creative<\/strong>&nbsp;and produced by&nbsp;<strong>Reich<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Steve Seabury<\/strong>, can be seen below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Cherry Medicine&#8221;<\/strong>, a mean palm-muted chug underlines\u00a0<strong>Ace<\/strong>&#8216;s pensive vocals where he confesses, &#8220;I knew I had to change my ways for sure to keep you by my side.&#8221; The track showcases another side of\u00a0<strong>Frehley<\/strong>\u00a0with its saccharine and sweet, soaring hook as he promises, &#8220;I love you, cherry medicine. You heal my every need and some.&#8221; He seals the sentiment with another powerhouse solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 11-track\u00a0<strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0LP was produced by\u00a0<strong>Ace<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Steve Brown<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>TRIXTER<\/strong>) and will be released on February 23 via\u00a0<strong>MNRK Music Group<\/strong>\u00a0(formerly\u00a0<strong>eOne Music<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"Ace Frehley \u2013 Cherry Medicine - (Official Music Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/psgSNQ7KlrU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this month,&nbsp;<strong>Ace<\/strong>&nbsp;released the music video for the song&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Walkin&#8217; On The Moon&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>. The clip was filmed last month with&nbsp;<strong>Wreck&#8217;d Productions<\/strong>&nbsp;at the company&#8217;s studio in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The entertaining visualizer was directed by&nbsp;<strong>Alex Kouvatsos<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Black Wolf Imaging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Walkin&#8217; On The Moon&#8221;<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ace<\/strong>&#8216;s voice rings out between towering distortion as a lovestruck hook echoes, &#8220;When I wake up, you&#8217;re all I see. You got me walkin&#8217; on the moon!&#8221; His string bends practically engage in a call-and-response with the refrain while another celestial solo resounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a recent interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@VRPRocks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VRP Rocks<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Ace<\/strong>\u00a0praised\u00a0<strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>, saying: &#8220;I&#8217;m very happy with the way the record turned out. Now, a lot of times I&#8217;ve recorded records where sometimes you look at three or four songs on the album and you consider them not as good as some of the other ones and you kind of consider them as filler. But I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any filler on this album. I think every song has merit to it.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added: ?&#8221;I think it&#8217;s one of the best albums I ever did. I mean, I think it&#8217;s probably as good as my solo album in 1978, which everybody seems to think is my best album to date. But I think this new album is equally as good as my 1978 solo album, and I think there&#8217;s more than one hit single on the album. So, if I was a&nbsp;<strong>KISS<\/strong>&nbsp;fan or an&nbsp;<strong>Ace Frehley<\/strong>&nbsp;fan, I&#8217;d go out and buy it immediately when it&#8217;s released on February 23rd, because you&#8217;re in for a treat.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ace<\/strong>\u00a0released the single\u00a0<strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0on November 28. The track&#8217;s music video \u2014 directed by\u00a0<strong>Alex Kouvatsos<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>Black Wolf Imaging<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 has garnered more than a million views on\u00a0<strong>YouTube<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0track listing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">01.&nbsp;<strong>10,000 Volts<\/strong><br>02.&nbsp;<strong>Walkin&#8217; On The Moon<\/strong><br>03.&nbsp;<strong>Cosmic Heart<\/strong><br>04.&nbsp;<strong>Cherry Medicine<\/strong><br>05.&nbsp;<strong>Back Into My Arms Again<\/strong><br>06.&nbsp;<strong>Fightin&#8217; For Life<\/strong><br>07.&nbsp;<strong>Blinded<\/strong><br>08.&nbsp;<strong>Constantly Cute<\/strong><br>09.&nbsp;<strong>Life Of A Stranger<\/strong><br>10.&nbsp;<strong>Up In The Sky<\/strong><br>11.&nbsp;<strong>Stratosphere<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October,&nbsp;<strong>Frehley<\/strong>&nbsp;told&nbsp;<strong>Jeff Napier<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuvo.net\/music\/national\/preview\/going-on-a-rocket-ride-the-ace-frehley-interview\/article_2992ebec-7790-11ee-879e-3b45f1e8eb65.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nuvo<\/a>&nbsp;about&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;10,000 Volts&#8221;<\/strong>: &#8220;It&#8217;s probably the best record I&#8217;ve ever done. I&#8217;m very excited about it. It&#8217;s the fIrst time I ended up writing most of these songs with a good friend of mine,&nbsp;<strong>Steve Brown<\/strong>. He used to play in&nbsp;<strong>TRIXTER<\/strong>&nbsp;and has a group called&nbsp;<strong>RUBIX KUBE<\/strong>. Anyway, we live 40 minutes from each other, and my fianc\u00e9e&nbsp;<strong>Lara<\/strong>&nbsp;hooked us up. I&#8217;d met him several times over the years, but just briefly, but she knew him when she was in her twenties, and she said, &#8216;You&#8217;ve gotta get together with&nbsp;<strong>Steve<\/strong>.&#8217; He&#8217;s a great songwriter and guitar player. He sent me a song, and there was one line that just jumped out from his chorus, and it was&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Walkin&#8217; On The Moon&#8217;<\/strong>. So I said, &#8216;Listen, let&#8217;s get together and rewrite this song, and the hook will be&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Walkin&#8217; On The Moon&#8217;<\/strong>,&#8217; because it wasn&#8217;t the end of the chorus he had prepared. So, we rewrote the song, and it came out great. We were actually gonna call the album&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Walkin&#8217; On The Moon&#8217;<\/strong>&nbsp;until we recorded a song called&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;10,000 Volts&#8217;<\/strong>, which came out amazing. I got&nbsp;<strong>Anton Fig<\/strong>, my old drummer, who played on my original &#8217;78 solo album and most of my solo stuff, to play drums on that. So, working with&nbsp;<strong>Steve<\/strong>&nbsp;has made a huge difference in my playing and writing because when he and I put our heads together, it just clicks. If I&#8217;m at a loss for a chord or a verse or a line, he comes up with it and vice versa, and within three or four hours, we write a song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;So that&#8217;s how the record&#8217;s been going,&#8221;\u00a0<strong>Ace<\/strong>\u00a0added. &#8220;Then, once you record the basic track, you gotta do the overdubs and double and triple the vocals, harmonies, and stuff. He&#8217;s an excellent engineer. So I didn&#8217;t have to pay an engineer to engineer this record. So I saved money on that, working with\u00a0<strong>Steve<\/strong>\u00a0as well, which is nice.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked if making&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Origins Vol. 2&#8221;<\/strong>, the sequel to his 2016 collection of cover songs that inspired the former&nbsp;<strong>KISS<\/strong>&nbsp;guitarist, affected the way he put together the new record,&nbsp;<strong>Frehley<\/strong>&nbsp;said: &#8220;It&#8217;s one thing doing an&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Origins&#8217;<\/strong>&nbsp;record because you don&#8217;t have to write the songs. Basically, I was picking songs that influenced me that were written by other people. So it&#8217;s a lot easier to do than when you do a regular studio record where all the songs are original. On this record, all the songs are original except for one. I did one cover of a song called&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Life Of A Stranger&#8217;<\/strong>, written by a gal named&nbsp;<strong>Nadia<\/strong>. When she did the song, it was Europop, and it was very sparsely recorded. I listened to it and loved the melody, and I loved the lyrics. I played it for&nbsp;<strong>Steve<\/strong>, and he said, &#8216;We could kill this song with heavy drums and power chords and stuff and keyboards even.&#8217; It came out great. All the other songs did as well. There&#8217;s really not a weak song on the record. Most people do a record, and they concentrate on three or four songs that they think might be singles, and then the rest of it is a lot of filler. But every song on this album I can hear on the radio. I hope DJs agree with me.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ace<\/strong>&#8216;s next all-original album will be the follow-up to&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Spaceman&#8221;<\/strong>, which was released in October 2018 via&nbsp;<strong>eOne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Origins Vol. 2&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0featured cover versions of\u00a0<strong>THE BEATLES<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0<strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m Down&#8221;<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>DEEP PURPLE<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Space Truckin'&#8221;<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>LED ZEPPELIN<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Good Times Bad Times&#8221;<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>THE ROLLING STONES<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Jumpin&#8217; Jack Flash&#8221;<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>THE KINKS<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Lola&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Manic Depression&#8221;<\/strong>, among others. A cover of the 1975\u00a0<strong>KISS<\/strong>\u00a0tune\u00a0<strong>&#8220;She&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0also appeared as a bonus track.
