Featuring new vocalist Marcus Seebach, this new album crushes. The guitar work by Brogi and V.O. Pulver on this album is phenomenal, Marcus’s vocals grab your attention, and the rhythm work of Steve Karrer(drums) and Patrick Hersche(bass) meld well together. The 10 tracks on the album, totaling 44:47, have NO filler in them, just pure BRUTAL intensity.

While there is NO bad track on this album, 7 of the tracks stood out to me after a couple listens.
Track #3 “Once Upon A Time….NOTHING” had me grinning from ear to ear, and headbanging to it. Track #4 “Speedsucker Romance” has some guitar work that grabbed my ear from the start. Track #5 “Centipede Bite”, (EXTRA POINTS for the title), will have you moshing like a maniac. Track #6 “Please Do Not Disturb(While I’m Dying)” slows it down but not in a bad way. The darkness will grab you. Track #8 “Acid Fish” is an old school foot stomper, that is heavy, catchy and groovy at the same time. Tracks #9 and #10 “The Venus Baroness I” and “The Venus Baroness II” finish the album, and finish it STRONG.

If you are a fan of early Kreator and a fan of Death/Thrash itself, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS

review by Detroit Jason Kenski Switzerland’s Messiah is back after 4 years.
