Electric Six are back with 14 deep and intense tone poems about the meaning of life on their new album “Turquoise.” The recording of “Turquoise” began in January of 2020, but you know, something distracted the band for a couple of years shortly after starting the record. The pandemic tacked a bit of time onto the schedule of this project and Electric Six certainly felt the need to tap into the collective feelings of the time in tracks like \u201cPanic! Panic!\u201d and the title track \u201cTurquoise.” The overall vibe of “Turquoise” ranges from the infectious pop of \u201cTake Me To The Sugar\u201d and \u201cStaten Island Ass Squad,\u201d to the heaviness of \u201cChild Of Hunger\u201d and\u201c Skywriting,\u201d to the Springsteenesque goodness of \u201cUnits of Time.\u201d With their fun merger of Disco, Punk, New Wave and more, Electric Six are is a band for all tastes, all times and all sizes. “Turquoise” is Electric Six\u2019s long awaited 15th studio album and it is available from Metropolis Records on CD, limited edition vinyl and through all digital streaming platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
