The album&#8217;s first official single,\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Non-Existence&#8221;<\/strong>, is a perfect picture of its overall sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About the track,&nbsp;<strong>Victor<\/strong>&nbsp;comments: &#8220;<strong>&#8216;Non-Existence&#8217;<\/strong>, with its techno-style noise guitar that&#8217;s omnipresent on this album, is a bit like my retrospective glance at&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Rude Awakening&#8217;<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Watch the lyric video for\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Non-Existence&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Victor<\/strong>\u00a0outlines the stylistic direction of the eleven songs that make up\u00a0<strong>&#8220;State Of Emergency&#8221;<\/strong>: &#8220;It&#8217;s a very\u00a0<strong>PRONG<\/strong>\u00a0record. I think it&#8217;s totally genre-transcending and definitely ignores what&#8217;s going on out there these days.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on his artistic approach, he says: &#8220;I like all kinds of music. This record totally reflects that because it covers lots of different angles. At the same time,&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;State Of Emergency&#8217;<\/strong>&nbsp;is very guitar-oriented and a typical example of my style.'&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Produced by the skillful hands of legendary producer&nbsp;<strong>Steve Evetts<\/strong>&nbsp;(<strong>SEPULTURA<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN<\/strong>),<strong>&#8220;State Of Emergency&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;surprises on the post-punk track&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Disconnected&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;and then grooves on the title track. Originally released as a standalone single in early 2023,&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Breaking Point&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;takes no prisoners with honest lyrics and cutting attitude, while hard hitting&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;The Descent&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;is a lightning quick, classic ripper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Back (NYC)&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0<strong>Victor<\/strong>\u00a0saying: &#8220;To me it&#8217;s as if\u00a0<strong>Jimmy Page<\/strong>\u00a0wrote a song playing through\u00a0<strong>Dimebag<\/strong>&#8216;s amplifier, with\u00a0<strong>Henry Rollins<\/strong>\u00a0singing. Kind of a weird experiment, for sure!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The album closes with a cover of&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Working Man&#8221;<\/strong>, originally written and recorded by the legendary&nbsp;<strong>RUSH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<strong>RUSH<\/strong>&nbsp;was the first power trio I ever saw live and I was blown away by them,&#8221;&nbsp;<strong>Tommy<\/strong>&nbsp;says. &#8220;&#8216;Working Man&#8217; is so simple and it&#8217;s so heavy. I also love the lyric.
