“Face Down”<\/strong>, the latest single from platinum-selling alternative-industrial rock pioneers FILTER<\/strong>, has just been made available digitally via Golden Robot Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Face Down”<\/strong>\u00a0follows the release of\u00a0“For The Beaten”<\/strong>, which was the first\u00a0FILTER<\/strong>\u00a0track to be issued by\u00a0Golden Robot<\/strong>\u00a0in October 2022. Written by\u00a0FILTER<\/strong>\u00a0founder\u00a0Richard Patrick<\/strong>,\u00a0“Face Down”<\/strong>\u00a0is classic\u00a0FILTER<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 a tight song with loads going on, including some killer drum fills and a restrained vocal delivery that seems ready to explode at any given point as the song progresses. The track lets you know early on where it is headed and locks you in from the start without ever becoming predictable. It will appear on\u00a0FILTER<\/strong>‘s upcoming album, which is expected to arrive in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“‘Face Down’<\/strong>\u00a0speaks to the hate and negativity plaguing the world today,” said\u00a0Patrick<\/strong>. “I wrote it after being inundated with lies, deceptions, and pure vitriol I saw on social media. I’m pumped. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the full album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time in its 30-year career, FILTER<\/strong> will present “California Screamin'”<\/strong> \u2014 a full concert global stream performed live on location in Los Angeles. HITKOR<\/strong> will be the official on demand streaming partner for the show, which will take place June 17. The live performance will include special guests, classic songs FILTER<\/strong> has not performed in over 25 years and the debut of brand-new material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’ve been itching to do a live stream since things shut down a couple years ago but I got caught up in the studio working on our new album,” said Patrick<\/strong>. “When Scott<\/strong> [Donnell<\/strong>, CMO HITKOR<\/strong>] came to me and told me about HITKOR<\/strong>, and then invited me down to see MINISTRY<\/strong> do their thing, I was sold.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
