GUNS<\/strong>, featuring singer&nbsp;<strong>Phil Lewis<\/strong>&nbsp;and guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Tracii Guns<\/strong>, has released a new song called&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Shattered Glass&#8221;<\/strong>. The track, which can be streamed below, is taken from the band&#8217;s upcoming studio album,&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Black Diamonds&#8221;<\/strong>, which will arrive on April 14. This will be the fourth studio album since the much-welcome reunion of the band&#8217;s core foundation of&nbsp;<strong>Lewis<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Guns<\/strong>. It will follow the well-received studio albums&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;The Missing Peace&#8221;<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;The Devil You Know&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Checkered Past&#8221;<\/strong>, plus the live release&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Made In Milan&#8221;<\/strong>, and a covers EP&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Another Xmas In Hell&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last October,\u00a0<strong>Lewis<\/strong>\u00a0took to his personal\u00a0<strong>Facebook<\/strong>\u00a0page to share the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Black Diamonds&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0title and track listing, and he included the following message: &#8220;Incredibly happy to announce the completion of our forth record (post reunion). Great songs, fantastic playing and some of the best singing of my career. It&#8217;s heavy and dark in places and bright n breezy in others. It&#8217;s all over the place as per our usual style. I think it&#8217;s the best thing we&#8217;ve ever done but yeah I know I say that about all of them but I truly love this record and had fun recording parts on the tour wagon and then five intense days doing vocals with\u00a0<strong>Mitch<\/strong>\u00a0[<strong>Davis<\/strong>] in NYC. Of course the wait for it to drop will be excruciating but I&#8217;ll do my best to contain the excitement. Seriously it&#8217;s fantastic and you&#8217;re all gonna love it.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Written and recorded over the course of 2022,&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Black Diamonds&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;sees&nbsp;<strong>Guns<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Lewis<\/strong>&nbsp;and company continuing on the same successful and inspiring sonic journey that they&#8217;ve been taking on their most recent albums. The band doesn&#8217;t shy away from flexing their hard rock influences as they always have, but also incorporates more introspective acoustic tracks reflective of their classic rock influences from the &#8217;70s. GUNS<\/strong>&nbsp;name. Under the terms of the settlement agreement,&nbsp;<strong>Guns<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Lewis<\/strong>&nbsp;continue to operate under the&nbsp;<strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>&nbsp;trademark, while&nbsp;<strong>Riley<\/strong>&nbsp;and his bandmates from the other version of&nbsp;<strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>&nbsp;are now operating under the new name&nbsp;<strong>RILEY&#8217;S L.A. GUNS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L.A. GUNS<\/strong>\u00a0was formed in 1983 and have sold over six million records, including 1988&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;L.A. Guns&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0and 1990&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Cocked And Loaded&#8221;<\/strong>, both of which were certified gold.\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Cocked And Loaded&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0contained the hit single\u00a0<strong>&#8220;The Ballad Of Jayne&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0that went to No. 33 on\u00a0<strong>Billboard<\/strong>&#8216;s Hot 100 and No. 25 on the Mainstream Rock charts.
