The LP is a collection of 13 brand-new songs that contain the final vocal performances and musical compositions of founding vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Wayne Static<\/strong>, along with the original&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Wisconsin Death Trip&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;lineup featuring&nbsp;<strong>Tony Campos<\/strong>&nbsp;(bass),<strong>Koichi Fukuda<\/strong>&nbsp;(guitars) and&nbsp;<strong>Ken Jay<\/strong>&nbsp;(drums). The new album was produced by&nbsp;<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>&#8216;s current vocalist\/guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Xer0<\/strong>&nbsp;and mixed\/mastered by longtime collaborator&nbsp;<strong>Ulrich Wild<\/strong>. The new album is scheduled for release on November 3 and is now available for pre-order at static-x.com in various configurations, including limited color vinyl, limited shirts, hoodies and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first single released from\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Project Regeneration: Vol. 2&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0is a cover of the\u00a0<strong>NINE INCH NAILS &#8220;Pretty Hate Machine&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0classic track\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Terrible Lie&#8221;<\/strong>. The re-imagined version features vocals recorded by\u00a0<strong>Static<\/strong>, along with an epic musical interpretation created by the original lineup and their producer\u00a0<strong>Xer0<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Wayne<\/strong>&#8216;s vocals were discovered as part of a series damaged audio tapes that the band uncovered a few years back. The band&#8217;s unique interpretation retains the electronic feel of the classic\u00a0<strong>NIN<\/strong>\u00a0song, while injecting it with the signature energy of\u00a0<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>\u00a0and their Evil Disco sound. A music video for the single \u2014 which features\u00a0<strong>Static<\/strong>\u00a0projected behind the band \u2014 is now available and can be seen below. The video was directed by the album&#8217;s executive producer and longtime friend\u00a0<strong>Edsel Dope<\/strong>, who is also believed to be touring and recording with\u00a0<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>\u00a0as\u00a0<strong>Xer0<\/strong>, and co-directed by\u00a0<strong>Matt Zane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"Static-X - Terrible Lie (Official Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yZKzqTYBr2Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All of the music associated with&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Project Regeneration: Vol. 2&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;is the result of collaborations between the four founding members along with their new vocalist\/guitarist\/producer&nbsp;<strong>Xer0<\/strong>. No additional guests appear on the album and there were no outside contributions to the songwriting, musical compositions, or the performances on&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Project Regeneration: Vol. 2&#8221;<\/strong>. Between the two releases,&nbsp;<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>&nbsp;fans around the globe have been treated to over two dozen brand new songs \u2014 most of which feature&nbsp;<strong>Static<\/strong>&nbsp;on lead vocals \u2014 and all released after his untimely passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Campos<\/strong>&nbsp;says: &#8220;I am so happy that the recording for&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Project Regeneration: Vol. 2&#8217;<\/strong>&nbsp;is finally finished, and the album is currently being mixed by our longtime producer&nbsp;<strong>Ulrich Wild<\/strong>. The only thing left is for the vinyl manufacturing to be completed. I am proud to say that between&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Project Regeneration: Vol. 1&#8217;<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>&#8216;Project Regeneration: Vol. 2&#8217;<\/strong>, we have been able to bring the fans 25 brand new&nbsp;<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>&nbsp;songs, most of which feature&nbsp;<strong>Wayne Static<\/strong>&nbsp;on lead vocals. Nobody would have imagined that any of this could even be possible a few short years ago.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wayne<\/strong>&#8216;s mother, father, and three siblings remain involved with\u00a0<strong>STATIC-X<\/strong>&#8216;s work to this day and have proudly attended several shows since the band&#8217;s reformation in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wayne<\/strong>&#8216;s younger sister&nbsp;<strong>Aimee<\/strong>&nbsp;says: &#8220;We all miss&nbsp;<strong>Wayne<\/strong>&nbsp;very much and we are so proud of the way that the band has chosen to honor him through the completion of his final works. They continue to place an emphasis on his presence within their live shows and it\u2019s been incredible to see the fans continue to connect with the band&#8217;s music and with&nbsp;<strong>Wayne<\/strong>&#8216;s memory. The 42-date trek kicks off February 25 in San Francisco, California and wraps up April 15, in Los Angeles, California.
