Continuing his 12-month release campaign, UK industrial electronic artist j:dead<\/strong> returns today the 2nd of October with his eleventh single \u201c<\/strong>Cannibal<\/strong>,\u201d<\/strong> released via Infacted<\/strong> Recording<\/strong>s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Described as an industrial-techno-pop anthem, \u201cCannibal\u201d<\/strong> pushes the evolving j:dead<\/strong> sound into an intense and emotionally charged space. Harsh, stabbing saw synths collide with distorted guitars and driving electronic production, while Jay Taylor delivers a vocal performance that moves from soft and heartfelt passages to raw, screaming expressions of heartbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyrically, \u201cCannibal\u201d<\/strong> explores anxiety and the uncomfortable process of confronting your own destructive habits and failures. The song uses cannibalism as a metaphor for consuming the parts of yourself that you recognize as damaging or perceived failures in character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
