Its title refers to the late American actor <strong>Brandon Lee<\/strong>, who played the lead role in the dark cult classic <strong>\u201cThe Crow\u201d<\/strong> (1993).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The single was mixed by acclaimed American producer <strong>Matt Hyde<\/strong>, who also produced <strong>THE 69 EYES<\/strong>\u2019 <strong>\u2018Back In Blood,\u2019<\/strong> recorded in Los Angeles in 2009. Known for his work with <strong>Slayer<\/strong> and <strong>Deftones<\/strong>, <strong>Hyde<\/strong> most recently mixed <strong>Megadeth<\/strong>\u2019s self-titled album <strong>\u2018Megadeth\u2019<\/strong> (2026), which reached No. 1 in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The music video for the track was filmed at <strong>Suomenlinna, Helsinki<\/strong>, and directed by <strong>Elias Ryyn\u00e4nen<\/strong>. Paparazzi models <strong>Corinna Puleo<\/strong> and <strong>Lotte Vainio<\/strong> bring timeless catwalk glamour to the band\u2019s gothic rock world, evoking the turn-of-the-millennium aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The single is the first taste of an acoustic record, set for release in early 2027. <strong>THE 69 EYES<\/strong> will also bring their melodic side on tour in February next year, with a nationwide concert hall tour across Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"THE 69 EYES - Brandon Lee (forma acustica) (Official Music Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cKRtOUNgTlM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vocalist <strong>Jyrki 69<\/strong> comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWe\u2019ve been touring nonstop around the world for the past three or four years. I checked the numbers this summer and realized that we had played 89 shows in 22 countries within a single year. Rock \u2019n\u2019 roll is at its best live, but now it\u2019s time to shift gears. An acoustic concert hall tour feels exactly right for this moment. As a preview of what\u2019s to come, we created new arrangements of many familiar<\/em> <strong><em>69 EYES<\/em><\/strong> <em>songs and developed them into full acoustic versions. This is an invitation to come and hear us in a new, acoustic setting.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you\u2019ve survived the 80s rock scene, you become unstoppable &#8211; and THE 69 EYES are living proof. Formed in Helsinki in 1989 and still going strong with the same line-up some four decades later, the Helsinki Vampires have earned their legendary status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a world with fewer and fewer true believers in leather jackets, midnight sunglasses, and low-slung guitars, THE 69 EYES keep the Johnny Thunders flame burning like an endless sleazy club night back in the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their biggest hit, \u201cLost Boys\u201d from 2005, was made into an iconic music video by MTV&#8217;s Jackass star and skater Bam Margera and remains on annual Halloween rock playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One foot in glam, another one in goth, THE 69 EYES have released thirteen albums, reaching gold and platinum and mainstream status in their native Finland, where they are signed to Gabi Hakanen\u2019s Vallila Music House. Their previous studio album, \u2018Death Of Darkness,\u2019 was released in 2023, and they have been touring without any notable breaks all over the world for the last twenty years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, bass, and drums are the classic rock band lineup.
