Legendary frontman <strong>Tommy Victor<\/strong>&#8216;s lyrics are forked and biting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About <strong>&#8220;Fear The Sun&#8221;<\/strong>, <strong>Tommy<\/strong> states: &#8220;I think we went back into time on this song. It&#8217;s a modernized version of the groove metal basics <strong>PRONG<\/strong> laid a foundation for back with <strong>&#8216;Beg To Differ&#8217;<\/strong>. Lyrically <strong>&#8216;Fear The Sun&#8217;<\/strong> reflects upon living with no seasonal changes, metaphorically.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its nearly four decades of domination, <strong>PRONG<\/strong> has remained a respected force in the scene, gigging doggedly around the world \u2014 becoming mainstays at seminal festivals like <strong>Wacken Open Air<\/strong>, <strong>Alcatraz<\/strong> and <strong>Brutal Assault<\/strong> \u2014 and unleashing a steady stream of classic albums dominating TV, radio, and streaming throughout their tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Honoring the band&#8217;s legacy, <strong>&#8220;Prong&#8221;<\/strong> packs 11 galvanizing haymakers, encompassing elements of industrial, thrash, alternative rock, and, of course, New York hardcore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Victor<\/strong> previously said about the upcoming LP: &#8220;This could be the best <strong>PRONG<\/strong> album to date. Immediately the band dropkicks listeners in the chest with the pummeling <strong>&#8220;Fear The Sun&#8221;<\/strong> inciting classic New York hardcore pit violence. Iconic vocalist and guitarist <strong>Tommy Victor<\/strong>&#8216;s chops come out in full swing on <strong>&#8220;Proportionate Response&#8221;<\/strong>, a smoldering incitement of retaliatory justice, before the blistering kicks of <strong>&#8220;Simulated Drowning&#8221;<\/strong> propel us forward.
