Today, LA\u2019s rising dark pop artist, Ella Boh<\/strong>, <\/strong>has released her searing dream-pop cover of \u201cCareless Whisper<\/a>.\u201d A crowd-pleaser at her live shows, she takes the George Michael hit and morphs it into something entirely different. Alternating between controlled, breathy vocals and unrestrained power, it feels like she is casting her own spell on the stadium-sized anthem \u2014 Stream<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussing today\u2019s release, Ella shared, \u201c\u2018Careless Whisper\u2019 is one of my favorite songs of all time so I started covering it on tour. My fans have not left me alone about it since, so I’m finally dropping the studio cover as my gift to them for selling my first headline tour so quickly.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of July, Ella released the\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>BLURRY (DELUXE EP)<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>via\u00a0Bamboo Artists<\/strong>, announced her headline tour, and made her debut\u00a0Lollapalooza<\/strong>\u00a0performance. Her shows in NYC and DC\u00a0<\/strong>quickly sold-out with the LA, Denver and Dallas shows following close behind. Along the way, she will be supported by\u00a0Psylosia<\/strong>. After her headline run, Ella will join\u00a0Artemas<\/strong>\u00a0for an expansive UK\/EU tour to close out the year. <\/p>\n\n\n

Self-written and self-produced, with co-production from Stint<\/strong>, Ella has crafted a cinematic dark-pop universe where every song, visual and release contributes to a larger story. Rather than existing as standalone singles, each track reveals another layer of the BLURRY<\/em> world, exploring the beauty and danger of loving too deeply, losing yourself in another person, and ultimately rediscovering your own identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deluxe EP is the complete realization of the artistic world Ella has spent the past year building while setting the stage for what is to come.
