An unreleased Wayne Static song, \u201cHere Is The Truth,\u201d<\/strong> is being restored and produced for release to fans, featuring former Static-X bassist Andy Cole (Andy The Kid)<\/strong> on bass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While editing an unauthorized documentary about Wayne Static and Tera Wray, director Matt Zane<\/strong> discovered several previously unreleased Wayne Static recordings. Unfortunately, the original recordings had suffered significant sonic degradation, making restoration and production necessary to preserve the material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zane brought in producer Mikael Johnston<\/strong>, known for his work with Static-X, Jane\u2019s Addiction, and Mephisto Odyssey, to restore and produce the songs, with Zane assisting throughout the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After determining that the original instrumental tracks were beyond salvage, the decision was made to bring in musicians to re-record the instrumental parts while preserving Wayne Static\u2019s original vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For bass, Zane and Johnston turned to Andy Cole (Andy The Kid)<\/strong>, Wayne Static\u2019s former bassist and touring bandmate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTouring with Wayne was one of the greatest highlights of my career. I learned an incredible amount from him, and I will always be grateful that he and his fans made me feel welcome. Although we never had the opportunity to collaborate in the studio, it was something we had talked about. When I was given the opportunity to record bass for this song, I was honored to contribute in some small way to Wayne\u2019s art and enduring legacy. He was truly a once in a generation musician. I hope the fans enjoy the song and continue to celebrate his incredible music and the legacy he left behind.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnston also stepped in to record guitar, while Jon Asher of Society 1<\/strong> was brought in to record drums. Together, the musicians helped reconstruct the instrumental foundation around Static\u2019s original vocal performance, resulting in \u201cHere Is The Truth.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zane says Johnston\u2019s familiarity with Wayne Static\u2019s work made him an ideal choice to handle the restoration and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s amazing Mikael was able to pull Wayne\u2019s vocals and what he\u2019s been able to do to restore the song. He worked with Wayne so much in the past on songs like\u00a0Crash: Reborn\u00a0and the alternative version of\u00a0Push It. He\u2019s perfect for the project.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to preserve and present previously unheard Wayne Static material while giving fans an opportunity to hear the music in a completed, professionally produced form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once \u201cHere Is The Truth\u201d<\/strong> is completed, a visualizer will be created to accompany the track. The finished song and visualizer will then be made available to fans free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHere Is The Truth\u201d<\/strong> represents a collaboration between musicians who knew and worked alongside Wayne Static and those helping to carry his music forward, allowing an unreleased piece of his artistic legacy to finally reach his fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
