Acclaimed alt-rock trio\u00a0Against the Current\u00a0<\/strong>has unveiled the anthemic \u201cAlways You & I<\/strong>,\u201d one of the more cinematic, romantic moments from their upcoming album. The track leans into the album\u2019s bigger themes of love, fate, devotion, and finding something that feels constant through every version of life. Of the song, frontwoman\u00a0Chrissy Costanza<\/strong>\u00a0shares,\u00a0\u201c\u2018Always You & I\u2019 is about a love that transcends time, a soulmate that is destined across every lifetime. It\u2019s about finding that person who is so certain and familiar that meeting them feels like coming home from the very first moment. They are the answer to every question, until the very end of all things, it was always them.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the band shared \u201cDead Man Walking,\u201d a darker track with themes of survival and unfamiliarity, and have now shared the official music video to accompany it. The video was directed by long-time collaborator Ryan Valdez, who has done one of their biggest videos, \u201cWeapon,\u201d from their\u00a0fever<\/em>\u00a0era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Against The Current is officially back and louder than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formed in 2011 when vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow, and drummer Will Ferri were just 15, the band has evolved from a teenage project into one of modern rock\u2019s most enduring forces. Now in 2026, as they celebrate their 15th anniversary, Against The Current is entering a defining new era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the breakout success of their 2021 EP \u201cFever\u201d, the trio embraced independence and began a bold new chapter. Their 2024 singles \u201csilent stranger,\u201d \u201cblindfolded,\u201d and \u201cgood guy\u201d marked this shift with unapologetic energy and authenticity, collectively amassing over 40 million streams worldwide. That momentum continued with the release of \u201cHeavenly\u201d on March 26, the first single from their upcoming album. Next comes \u201cDead Man Walking,\u201d May 22, an explosive track with Chrissy\u2019s vocal power on full display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over a decade, Against The Current has electrified audiences worldwide, from sold-out headline tours to major festival stages, building a fiercely loyal international fanbase. This Fall, the band will play their largest rooms yet across Europe and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band has also made a lasting impact in the gaming world, most notably through their collaboration with Riot Games on Legends Never Die, which has surpassed one billion streams globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
