The EP was released on Monday, 6 July 2026.\u00a0Tatv\u00a0Gral\u2019s\u00a0Allen Addington\u00a0says of the remix collection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRather than asking the artists to simply remix\u00a0\u2018Treachery\u2019, I invited each of them to\u00a0uncover something I hadn\u2019t expressed \u2013 or a hidden potential within the song. The results surprised me. Each collaborator revealed a different emotional perspective, transforming the EP into an unexpected journey, rather than a collection of alternate versions. William Faith\u2019s production opened an entirely\u00a0different emotional space, Daniel Myer\u2019s DSTR remix became the search, [melter]\u00a0intensified the crisis, and Tweaker explored its aftermath. Together they revealed possibilities within the song that I hadn\u2019t recognized until I heard the finished project.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Launching alongside the EP is a new video for the DSTR remix of Treachery, which premiered exclusively via Side-Line.com on 6 July. While some continuity from the original clip is present, moreover, the new video presents a distinct visual interpretation of Daniel Myer\u2019s reimagining of the song, relocating it within Chicago\u2019s historic industrial music landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"Treachery DSTR remix\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dAeOof5-nPo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thematically, \u2018Treachery\u2019 emerged from Addington\u2019s exploration of\u00a0Hellenistic astrology, after discovering that both Saturn and Mars carried the signification of \u201ctreachery\u201d in the ancient Greek texts. Drawing on the archetypal psychology of\u00a0<strong>James Hillman<\/strong>, the song places these symbolic\u00a0forces in dialogue with\u00a0<strong>Coil<\/strong>\u2019s ritual electronics,\u00a0<strong>Kenneth Anger<\/strong>\u2019s astrologically timed film work, and the\u00a0<strong>Jungian<\/strong>\u00a0tradition that informs\u00a0them. These archetypal forces are explored through Addington&#8217;s perspective as a gay man, framing Hellenistic symbolism, Jungian psychology, and industrial music&#8217;s longstanding engagement with transgression through a queer lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"TATV GRAL - Treachery (Official Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q03_aOVhO8o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musically,\u00a0Tatv Gral\u00a0draws on the colder edges of industrial, EBM and dark electronic music, combining mechanical rhythms, claustrophobic textures and cinematic tension with an emotionally exposed vocal approach.\u00a0Coil\u2019s occult philosophy as genuine practice is at the centre of\u00a0Tatv Gral\u2019s frame of reference, while other influences range from Chicago\u2019s industrial lineage via\u00a0WAX TRAX!
