On <strong>June 27, 2026<\/strong>, that community came together at <strong>The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel<\/strong>&nbsp;to celebrate one of its own as Raquel married businessman and music enthusiast <strong>Brian Bell<\/strong>&nbsp;in what guests unanimously described as one of the most unforgettable rock weddings ever staged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-805oi445\">Rather than hiring wedding entertainers, the couple invited many of their friends from the rock world to help tell their story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-qd404447\">The ceremony was officiated by <strong>David Ellefson<\/strong>, legendary former co-founding bassist of <strong>Megadeth<\/strong>&nbsp;and one of Raquel&#8217;s closest longtime friends. Years ago, Raquel asked David that if she ever met the love of her life, he would officiate her wedding. On June 27, he fulfilled that promise before family, friends, and fellow musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-747sh453\">The ceremony opened like a concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-r9gqt455\">As Raquel and her bridal party walked down the aisle overlooking the Pacific Ocean, <strong>Todd Kerns<\/strong>\u2014best known as bassist and vocalist for <strong>Slash featuring Myles Kennedy &amp; The Conspirators<\/strong>\u2014led an all-star band through a live performance of <strong>Guns N&#8217; Roses&#8217; &#8220;November Rain,&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;the bride&#8217;s favorite song and a lifelong dream she had envisioned since she was a teenager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-i870h463\">Kerns was joined by an exceptional lineup featuring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Zach Throne<\/strong>\u00a0(guitar)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blas Elias<\/strong>\u00a0(drums, <strong>Trans-Siberian Orchestra<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jimmie Romero<\/strong>\u00a0(guitar)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-49h5j480\">The band continued with a full hour of live music during cocktail hour after receiving special approval from <strong>The Ritz-Carlton<\/strong>&nbsp;and the <strong>City of Dana Point<\/strong>&nbsp;to perform outdoors\u2014turning the luxury resort into a true rock venue overlooking the Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-oxe8x486\">Then came the surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-6100924669\">David Ellefson stepped back onto the stage\u2014this time with bass in hand\u2014to perform <strong>two songs<\/strong>&nbsp;alongside Todd Kerns and the band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-ui251492\">Later, powerhouse vocalist <strong>Keith St. John<\/strong>&nbsp;made an unexpected appearance, joining the musicians for an impromptu performance that had guests crowding the dance floor. Known for captivating audiences with sophisticated, high-energy performances, Miss Miranda brought a touch of old-school rock decadence to the celebration, seamlessly fitting the evening&#8217;s luxurious yet rebellious spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-2tg5c24920\">Keeping the energy alive well into the night was legendary Southern California DJ <strong>DJ Skum Love<\/strong>, a respected fixture in the hard rock and metal scene for decades. Known for spinning at major concerts, celebrity events, and industry parties, DJ Skum Love recently served as the DJ for <strong>David Draiman&#8217;s<\/strong>&nbsp;wedding, further cementing his reputation as one of the most recognizable DJs in the rock community.
