Holmstr\u00f6m<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;(<\/strong><strong>The Dandy Warhols<\/strong><strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Pete International Airport)<\/strong>&nbsp;and Sun Atoms\u2019 own&nbsp;<strong>June Kang<\/strong>. Both have been on a absolute tear lately, churning out remixes for the likes of&nbsp;<strong>A Place To Bury Strangers&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>The Macks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result is the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sunatoms.bandcamp.com\/album\/narco-polo-feat-isaac-brock-remixes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>&#8216;Narco Polo Remixes&#8217;<\/strong><\/a>, released by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/littlecloudrecords.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Little Cloud Records<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp;where Sun Atoms and Isaac Brock transport unaware bystanders to a surreal, psychedelic fever dream. This 2-track single offers heavy grooves, warped vocals, and plenty of volume. Holmstr\u00f6m\u2019s sleek, hypnotic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/JQdjvitRjmU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>&#8216;Marco Polo (NRC RMX)&#8217;<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;arrives alongside a striking new visual from rising artist&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bradytucson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Brady Tucson<\/strong><\/a>. Holmstr\u00f6m<\/strong>and guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Derek Spencer Longoria-Gomez<\/strong><strong>(Hi Hazel<\/strong>). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Lately I\u2019ve been super into slower tempo remixes and trying to keep it groovy but at lower than 100 BPM. Always being somewhat of a bass head, I tend to go heavy-handed on the low end and kick sounds,&#8221; says&nbsp;<strong>June Kang<\/strong>&nbsp;on the track\u2019s re-envisioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Once I got the kick and bass gelling together, the rest of it was playing with samplers, sequencers, and my favorite Korg MS20 to keep the groove in place. Isaac&#8217;s voice was too fun to cut up, and Jsun always lets me go over the top with his vocal effects. I had too much fun with this remix.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sun Atoms&#8217; acclaimed second album&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sunatoms.bandcamp.com\/album\/everything-forever\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Everything Forever&#8217;<\/a>&nbsp;pushes into expansive, genre-defying territory. Produced by Holmstr\u00f6m&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>and mixed by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jagzkooner.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Jagz Kooner<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;(Massive Attack, Oasis, Primal Scream), the album held in the charts for four months in 2025, featuring collaborations with&nbsp;Isaac Brock,&nbsp;The Vandelles&#8217; Jasno Swarez&nbsp;and&nbsp;<\/strong>Tremours<strong>&#8216;&nbsp;Lauren Andino. &nbsp;Their debut&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sunatoms.bandcamp.com\/album\/let-there-be-light\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Let There Be Light&#8217;<\/a>&nbsp;was mixed by legendary producer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stephenstreet.audio\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Stephen Street&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a>(Blur, The Smiths, The Cranberries)&nbsp;and features&nbsp;The Black Angels\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sunatoms.bandcamp.com\/album\/let-there-be-light\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Alex Maas<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;on the opening track.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blending psychedelic rock, post-punk and cinematic soundscapes, Sun Atoms create a hypnotic, immersive live experience described as \u201cblurring the line between concert and s\u00e9ance\u201d.
