Touring the U.S. in support of Trh\u00e4\u00a0from July 23 – August 8!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japanese horror-inspired USBM outfit\u00a0SAIDAN\u00a0<\/strong>will be releasing its\u00a0highly anticipated\u00a0fourth LP<\/strong>, ‘FANGDRILLER: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist,’ on\u00a0June 19<\/strong>\u00a0via\u00a0Avantgarde Music<\/strong>! The band is now unveiling the cinematic new single, “Immersed by Eternity\u2019s Blade” along with a music video, which can be found at\u00a0THIS LOCATION<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A prequel to 2023’s ‘Visual Kill,’ ‘FANGDRILLER’ follows The Student (Junko) as she tries to heal her fractured heart. Haunted by wistful solitude, her isolation makes her the perfect victim for a mysterious cult known as Ethereal Blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAIDAN vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk comments, \u201cMany of the songs on this album offer glimpses into where I was emotionally over the past year. ‘Immersed by Eternity\u2019s Blade’ is unique in that there\u2019s no metaphor to masquerade my heart. I yearned for a future where the anguish of the present would fade into a distant memory, leaving only the moments of happiness behind.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This song was, and continues to be, a source of healing for me. I hope that anyone carrying their own sorrow can find some measure of comfort in this song and in the album as a whole.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While lyrically dealing with topics of depression, heartbreak, loss, and loneliness, the album is musically inspired by the lo-fi nature of classic Visual Kei <\/strong>and gothic black metal. Saidan strives to deliver an album that sounds nostalgic for an era of music that doesn\u2019t exist. Blistering solos, deranged vocals, anthemic-riffage, and diabolical drumming are slammed together with doses of modern breakcore and wrapped in a black metal bow, garnering a feeling of familiarity while offering something that\u2019s boldly unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, SAIDAN<\/strong> will be embarking on a U.S. tour <\/strong>in support of prolific atmospheric black metal band Trh\u00e4 <\/strong>along with Barbelith.<\/strong> The trek will kick off on July 23 in Indianapolis, IN and will lay waste through the East Coast and parts of the midwest until the final stop on August 8 in Charlotte, NC.
