After more than 40 eventful years of existence, Canada’s progressive sci-fi metal innovators VO\u00cfVOD<\/strong> return with \u2018Symphonique,\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>a special live release together with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, out now via Century Media Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Symphonique,\u2019<\/em><\/strong> which functions like an epic piece of cinema, showcases VO\u00cfVOD<\/strong>\u2019s pioneering futuristic metal with the strains of a symphony orchestra, and features a carefully curated VO\u00cfVOD<\/strong> best-of setlist composed of 12 songs across 73 minutes, recorded live on June 4th, 2025,<\/strong> at the Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre<\/strong> in Qu\u00e9bec City, Canada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, a next appetizer for \u2018Symphonique\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>can now be seen in a visualizer created by Luc Leclerc \/ Above The Void<\/strong>, featuring background animation by S\u00e9bastien Fournier \/ Cirkus Animation<\/strong> for the song \u201cThe Unknown Knows (Symphonique),\u201d<\/strong> available below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully, we will experience it again in 2027 with the <\/em>Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean<\/em><\/strong>, right in the region where <\/em>VO\u00cfVOD<\/em><\/strong> formed back in 1983. We wish to take this show across the globe with local orchestras one day, but in the meantime, I hope you will enjoy this epic release.
