It\u00a0marks a step up into a more expansive phase of her music, blurring genre lines and exploring the lure of stardom and all of its&#8217; stories of lust, desire, control and seduction.<br><br>A pioneer of what she describes as &#8216;Electronic Boom&#8217;, Rougeheart blends sub bass, beats and grooves with industrial elements and signature lyrics that incorporate sarcasm, humour and serious issues. It all combines perfectly to elevate her music to new heights.<br><br><em>&#8220;When I started to gather the demos that I really wanted to include on the album, I saw a story unfolding,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>explains Rougeheart.\u00a0<em>&#8220;The songs, in order, put together a picture of someone navigating a new and exciting but seemingly treacherous path with eyes on this &#8216;big prize&#8217; or breakthrough &#8211; and they\u2019ll do anything to get it. It\u2019s a seductive tale with vampiric tendencies and a little loosening of moral values; a glittery story that will hopefully make you want to know more.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;La Mordre&#8217; includes several self-produced songs and others co-produced with Curse Mackey (Pigface, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult) and AwareNess (calm.).
