Throughout an illustrious career, BILLY MORRISON<\/strong> has played live in front of millions of fans, collaborated with every A-list rockstar under the sun (even notching a #1 single with the late Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>), sold his paintings in galleries on multiple continents, and logged hundreds of hours on-air as a radio host for SiriusXM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, everybody seemingly wonders, \u201cWho the F%@K is Billy Morrison?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today (May 6), the British guitarist, singer, and songwriter\u2014joined by a cohort of iconic collaborators and friends\u2014finally answers that question in a new short film titled \u201cWho the F%@K is Billy Morrison?<\/strong>\u201d Watch the six-minute documentary HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directed and edited by Mike Savage<\/strong>, \u201cWho the F%@K is Billy Morrison?<\/strong>\u201d tells his story through punchy editing, candid footage, and new interviews with Duff McKagan<\/strong> of Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>, Al Jourgensen<\/strong> of Ministry<\/strong>, B-Real <\/strong>of Cypress Hill<\/strong>, Nuno Bettencourt<\/strong> of Extreme<\/strong>, mixer\/engineer\/producer Barry Pointer<\/strong>, and MORRISON <\/strong>himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MORRISON<\/strong> describes himself as a \u201cmultidisciplinary creative,\u201d encompassing his \u201c<\/em>15-year career in the fine art world,\u201d \u201c<\/em>30-odd-year career in the music business,\u201d and \u201csome successful acting moments.\u201d He holds nothing back either, tracing an often-unbelievable journey from his childhood in the UK to international rock stardom on his own terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He observes, \u201cDespite a 15-year drug addiction\u202640 years later, I have a number one rock song and multiple Top 10 hits, so everything that you see me do now is fueled by a case of, I guess, making up for lost time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visual can barely contain the enthusiasm of its interviewees though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the very mention of MORRISON<\/strong>, McKagan<\/strong> beams, \u201c<\/em>He\u2019s a hell of a guitar player, lives for music,\u201d and B-Real<\/strong> reveals, \u201cHe\u2019s thoughtful of everybody on the song and not too many people are thoughtful when they have you on the track.\u201d Pointer<\/strong> marvels at his work ethic, \u201cHe\u2019s a hustler, meaning he never slows down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After dubbing him \u201ca bionic riff machine,\u201d it\u2019s Jourgensen<\/strong> who puts it best, \u201cThere\u2019s a lot more to unwrap in the BILLY<\/strong> MORRISON<\/strong> box than you would think, but mainly he\u2019s just a top shelf human being, so what could possibly go wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the short film\u2019s most tender moments comes as MORRISON<\/strong> recalls his best friend Ozzy<\/strong>\u2019s impact on his life. It was Ozzy<\/strong> who recognized his potential as a fine artist, leading to an unbelievable second act. MORRISON<\/strong> affirms, \u201cHe knew I had this in me\u2026Here I am 15 years later.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s just the tip of the iceberg though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, MORRISON<\/strong> ignited his next era with the single \u201cBecoming\u201d<\/strong> [feat. Sully Erna<\/strong> of Godsmack<\/strong> & GRAMMY\u00ae Award winner Nuno Bettencourt <\/strong>of Extreme<\/strong>]. Beyond picking up a head of steam at DSPs, it has surged at Active Rock Radio, hitting #26<\/strong> this week on the Billboard<\/strong> chart. Revolver<\/a> dove into the track headfirst with an extensive feature interview, going on to note that  \u201cMORRISON<\/strong> and Fuel<\/strong> member Brett Scallions<\/strong> co-wrote the song before sending it over to Erna<\/strong>, who delivers an impassioned and raspy set of lines. Bettencourt<\/strong> rises to the occasion and rips pure hellfire on his guest solo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
